The wiki was founded on September 17, 2021 as myboogame.fandom.com. The original intent of the creator is to create a wiki solely dedicated to the My Boo franchise. The wiki was conveniently created one day before the 8th year anniversary of the original My Boo. However, the wiki has later expanded to include information about other Tapps Games.
The game was later rebranded as the Tapps Games and Kiku Apps Wiki on September 23, 2021. This was on behalf of Apofiss' confirmation of a My Chu wiki, who promised to create a wiki to demonstrate the features and information about My Chu 2 to a reviewer from Google Play. The commenter, who reviewed the game on October 26, 2016, cites the game franchise as unprofessional due to the abundance of grammatical and spelling errors scattered throughout the games. This caused Apofiss to consider the idea of a My Chu wiki. Since Apofiss hasn't done the idea yet, the creator of this wiki (KrabbyPatty1999) decided to merge the My Chu wiki to the My Boo for convenience.
The wiki was separated on October 10, 2021 into kikuapps.fandom.com and to tappsgames.fandom.com , because the two companies aren't even related!
On December 21, 2022, the URL was changed into myboovirtualpet.fandom.com, and the wiki's name has been reverted back to the My Boo Wiki!
The wiki promises NOT to include unofficial and unsourced information. If so, a template will mark such fanon, so that the wiki readers may distinguish official canon from fanmade speculation.
